What can I do if my stone is black and I want it clean again?

The black is not harmful to you it is simply stone seasoning over time. However, you may carefully flip the stone over before use the other side that is clean. You may also turn the oven on with the motor rotating the tray at a higher temperature to burn off the excess char.
